Ronald A Brumback Chief Executive Officer and Director
Ron Brumback joined CertaLogic as CEO in August 2003. He had been a member of the board of directors of CertaLogic for two years prior to accepting the position of CEO. Immediately prior to joining CertaLogic, Mr. Brumback served as President and CEO of Top Layer, Inc., a leading supplier of intrusion prevention systems in the network security industry. Before Top Layer, he was President of Navigation Technologies Corporation (renamed NAVTEQ; NYSE: NVT), the leading supplier of digital road maps and application software for in-vehicle navigation systems and mobile and web-based mapping applications for Europe and North America. Mr. Brumback went to NAVTEQ from Philips Media, where he was responsible for building that company’s interactive services business. Mr. Brumback has also held general management positions with the Database Technology Services Division of R.R.Donnelly and Sons and Atex, Inc., and executive marketing and sales positions with Cognition, Inc., and Eikonix, Inc. In addition, he spent seven years in two tours of duty with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Mr. Brumback earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Richmond and an M.A. and M.Phil. in Economics and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Alejandro Javier Spiritoso McCabe Co-founder, President, and Director
Alex Spiritoso is a co-founder and President of
CertaLogic and was the lead member of the initial team starting in 1992 that
developed and commercialized the CertaLogic product line. In addition to his
corporate responsibilities, Mr. Spiritoso leads the Latin American operations
of CertaLogic. Mr. Spiritoso led the company to become the preeminent supplier
of business information integration and operations applications for the
electric utility industry in South America. Mr.
Spiritoso completed post-graduate studies in finite element analysis at the University of Buenos Aires, where he also studied
Civil Engineering.

Bruce Gordon Vice President, Sales – North America
Bruce Gordon is responsible for developing and managing our sales efforts in North America. Mr. Gordon started with CertaLogic in June 2005. Mr. Gordon comes to CertaLogic with over 25 years of experience in sales. Eighteen of those years have been in the computer industry including 15 years focusing on the energy sector. He joins us from DISA, Inc., an outsourced business services company serving the energy and other industries, where he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Mr. Gordon has also served as Vice President, Sales for Allegro Development, Inc. (risk management software for the energy industry), Raab Karcher Energy Services / E.ON (a German CRM and outsourcing business), and American Innovations, Ltd. (a pioneer provider of automated meter reading (AMR) systems to the utility industry). Mr. Gordon earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland.

Susan Sundell Chief Financial Officer
Susan Sundell joined CertaLogic in February 2004 and is responsible for the Company’s financial management and planning, including accounting and treasury functions. A seasoned executive, Ms. Sundell has thirty years of finance and operations experience in early stage high technology and manufacturing companies. Most recently, she was Corporate Controller at Top Layer Networks, Inc., where she established and managed worldwide financial operations during the company’s growth from $0 to $15 million. For the seven years prior to joining Top Layer, Ms. Sundell was Senior Vice President and Treasurer of StockerYale, Inc. (NASDAQ: STKR), a developer of specialty optical fiber and diffractive optics products, where she closed and integrated two acquisitions and completed a successful IPO. Ms. Sundell went to StockerYale from MFE Instruments, Inc., where she served in a variety of positions including General Manager and Controller. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sundell also had finance, human resources, and information systems responsibilities with several companies in the manufacturing, technology, and banking industries. Ms. Sundell holds a B.S. degree from Franklin Pierce College.

Sebastian C Maruffo Co-founder and Vice President, Engineering
Sebastian Maruffo is chief architect of the CertaLogic product line and manages the software development organization. Previously, Mr. Maruffo held the position of Development Manager as well as several other positions within the Company. He has also served as Project Manager for multiple customer deployments including projects in Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Mr. Maruffo is responsible for the design of the CertaLogic software architecture to ensure product robustness and configurability. He holds a Physics degree from the Balseiro Institute and he studied Industrial Engineering at Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA).

Pablo Slobinsky Co-founder and Vice President – Professional Services Latin America
Pablo Slobinsky is responsible for implementations at client sites, including technical support and relationships with integrators. In addition, Mr. Slobinsky has served as a senior client consultant on major installations in Peru and Argentina. Mr. Slobinsky has a degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires.

Dean Vassiliou Vice President, Professional Services – North America
Dean Vassiliou is responsible for developing and managing CertaLogic’s deployment, consulting, and customer support activities in North America. Mr. Vassiliou joined CertaLogic in November 2005 bringing with him 13 years of electric utility experience. Six of those years were spent working for a vendor of big ticket software to the utility industry, where he led the product management, professional services, and customer support organizations. The other seven years of utility experience were spent working for electric utilities in both distribution and retail. He joins us from Valaran Corporation, a software provider of SOA-based edge centric platform middleware, where he was Vice President, Product Management and Marketing. Mr. Vassiliou has also served as Senior Vice President, Products, Services, and Support and Vice President, Product Management for Lodestar Corporation, a global software and service provider specializing in enterprise back office solutions for the energy industry. Prior to Lodestar, he held positions at Entergy Integrated Solutions, Jersey Central Power & Light Company, and McGrann Associates, an energy consulting firm. Mr. Vassiliou earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.

R. John Fletcher Chairman and Investor
John Fletcher is a co-founder of FletcherSpaght, Inc. (FSI) and serves as its CEO. FSI is a management consulting firm focused on providing strategy and financing assistance to new companies. FSI advises clients on the commercial potential of new technologies and the options for developing and funding growth businesses. The firm concentrates on start-up companies in information technology and healthcare and on emerging opportunities within larger organizations. Prior to launching FSI in 1983, Mr. Fletcher was a Senior Manager at The Boston Consulting Group where he managed client relationships with healthcare and high technology companies. Mr. Fletcher is also a Managing Member of FletcherSpaght Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in information technology and healthcare companies. Mr. Fletcher was previously a Ph.D. candidate and instructor in International Business at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Wharton, he was a Captain and jet pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Fletcher holds an M.A. in Finance from the Wharton School, an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University, and a B.A. from George Washington University. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of AutoImmune and NMT Medical. He also serves on the Board of Overseers and Cardiology Council of Children's Hospital – Boston, and the Boards of Advisors of the Boston University Photonics Center, the Whitehead Institute at MIT, the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, and the School of Government and Business at George Washington University.

Steve Benson Director
Steve Benson is an independent consultant. Prior to his current role, Mr. Benson led the introduction of CertaLogic into the US market and subsequently served as Executive Vice President of CertaLogic. Prior to joining CertaLogic, Mr. Benson served as Chief Technical Officer for Brooks Automation, a multinational company serving the semiconductor industry. In this role, Mr. Benson created a unified structure for the integration of 20+ international software packages / companies acquired by Brooks over a four year period. Prior to his stint at Brooks Automation, Mr. Benson worked at LSI Logic as Senior Director for Global Manufacturing Systems with responsibility for the design, development, integration, and implementation of manufacturing systems worldwide. He also brings experience in software engineering, development, and deployment dating back to 1969 for such companies as Honeywell, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Thesis, Inc. Mr. Benson holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Boston University.

Linda C Waterman Director and Investor
Linda Waterman is the General Partner of MercInvest, LLC. Previously, Ms. Waterman was Vice President and a Director of MercInvest. She spent several of the past ten years in Buenos Aires and has been involved with CertaLogic from the start. Ms. Waterman began her career in the securities industry, first as an analyst with Glore Forgan in Chicago and later as a private equity portfolio manager for a high net worth individual. From 1965-1995, Ms. Waterman owned her own business, Linda Clark Sheppard, Inc. Ms. Waterman studied at Wellesley College with a major in Economics, and also attended graduate business classes at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Ms. Waterman has co-chaired the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food and has served on the boards of directors of Food Depot and Buckaroo Ball in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She currently is a member of the World Presidents' Organization and serves on the Board of Trustees of The Madeira School in McLean, Virginia.
